Autumn Splendor~Fall's Hallow, Aranea

+ one accoutrement:

A Spider's Lair~ Aranea, Spider of the World

The Fall Challenge Starts!

Today is the 30th, the day of debuts. All of our entries will be unveiled tonight when the poll is finally created so that the voting can commence!
Please go and vote for your favorite entry at our eJAG blog:
I have seen one other entry, a beautiful set of earrings and a necklace of sparklies on a golden aspen leaf! Simply gorgeous! It's going to be a tough one, I can already tell. Just one hour to go. I will be posting new images at MySpace, on my Rota-Tor (ok, my slide show) when I finish here. It will take a while to cycle in to my mix at Myspace, so I figure that about the time for the images to appear it will be close to debut time. So that's good. Let's review of my progress so far, oh, and there's a new hint pic:

that's it for now...It's off to MySpace.

Tues Sept 30th is just around the corner!

The 30th is almost here, my entry is complete (as is my listing). My hint picture is up and because I have never seen another like my entry utilizing my style used, I am also offering up for immediate purchase, more of my entry in a 'less conspicuous' form and with a much more affordable price point. Call them Seasonal Accoutrements or call them accessories, or call them unique, any name is fine with me, and know that the only reason I show this peek-pic (above) is because I realize that no one actually reads (or views) my blog, so I am safe in this wide world of webs. :o) And yet still, my surprise is veiled...you only get a small glimpse, because as we all know, where there is smoke, there is usually fire......
So visit my shop on Tues, and then ple-e-e-e-e-ase take a finger tip trip to our eJAG forum (or blog) to vote for your most unqiue and creative andof course, favorite entry...mine, right?

eJAG's Autumn Splendor Update -another Fall's Hallow update

Well, the day is here. Today is the last day to enter the eJAG contest....
Now, in 10 days, on the 30th, all the items will be shown for voting! Hooray.
My entry
Fall's Hallow, aranea is finished, but I decided to add one more thing, and I am currently awaiting its arrival in the snail mail. Yes, that's right...Of course it is from a fellow etsian, as is another item chosen for my entry. Keep it in the 'efamily' right? right.
No image this time, because well... it's a contest, and you will have to wait until it is time. But, I don't want you to be disappointed that there is no image, so I have decided to insert 2 different images for you to view, while you wait for the entries to come.

These images come from my group called Nosey neighbors (I spell it nosey becasue we both have to get our noses right up to the fence to pull this one off).

eJAG's Autumn Splendor Update - Fall's Hallow update

As of today, Falls Hallow will have a subname added to it, in preparation for the debut, coming on September 30th, at the contest opening.

Falls Hallow's Aranea - is now the title of this work of art. It has been completed, photography finshed and is now ready to launch. I am currently drawing up the paperwork for the listing.
All I will can say at this point is that it is very pretty, and perfect for this time of year.

The debut is nearing.

Autumn Splendor - "Fall's Hallow" progressing right along

Work is moving right along with my entry into eJAG's Autumn Splendor Challenge entry. Today, I sprayed sealant onto my work to keep the shine from oxidizing.

Fortunately and unfortunately it was a bit windy today. By fortunate, I am referring to my asthma; the fumes just blew away and I hardly noticed the scent. Unfortunately, one of my components dislodged and when a gust came up, it blew away... Don't know where it ended up, and I have not given up searching for it. It was damp so it may have adhered somewhere that is not openly visible, but I fear it fell down onto the deck in just a way that allowed it to fall between the boards, which means it is gone forever, or until we tear up the deck; which is not even in the plans.

Luckily it wasn't a piece that would cause any angst, it was an extra item. Good thing!

Here is a pic of my items in their little spray box.
Sorry, but that's all you get for now.
